Dear customers and visitors to our website.
We would like to inform you that a lot has changed in the World of Holiday Rentals from a regulatory point of view and that only an official operator can give you the right guarantees that you are spending your money safely.
Today, holiday homes must have a national licence number (CIN code), be equipped with fire-fighting systems (fire extinguisher, gas leak detector and carbon monoxide detector installed by qualified professionals and checked periodically), have had analyses done to avoid the risk of legionella cultures forming in air-conditioning systems and bathroom drains, and offer insurance to protect guests in the event of accidents, however much prevention is done.
All of this obviously has a cost for the official operator, but we try not to pass this cost on to customers. What it is important for customers to do, however, is to always make sure they book with those who comply with the new laws for their own protection. Indeed, it cannot be ruled out that accommodation without authorisations and security devices may be subject to checks and inspections by the competent authorities to fine those who act illegally and put an end to their customers’ stay.
Protect your holiday and the healthy part of the tourist industry!
